How do I know which Proven Plan to choose?

Here are some things to consider when choosing a program:

TRAIN FOR YOUR GOALS:
Choose a plan focused on the type of climbing that reflects your current climbing goals - do they trend more towards bouldering or roped climbing?

TRAIN AT YOUR LEVEL:
Choose the plan recommended for your current and consistent level of climbing performance, and don’t let your ego cloud your vision . Don’t choose the plan for the grade range you were in two years ago during your best season ever if that’s not where you are now.

Feel like you fall right in between two programs?
If you’re new to training for climbing, go with the lower grade range. If you’re familiar with structured training for climbing or other sports, go with the higher grade range. Either way, be open to scaling the intensity of any exercises up or down in order to make them appropriately challenging for you.

TRAIN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE:
Choose a program that works with the gym facilities and/or equipment you have. For example, if your gym doesn’t have roped climbing, you should choose a program that trains entirely on boulders.
